What is an Adult Residential Facility?

Facilities of any capacity that provide 24 hour non-medical care and supervision for adult ages 18 through 59, who are unable to provide for their own daily needs. Adult Residential Facility is a program unique to California. Facilities are licensed and monitored by Community Care Licensing a division of the Department of Social Services.
